George II style walnut and parcel gilt fretwork wall mirror, dating from the early 20th century, Edwardian period. This wall mirror with book-matched walnut veneered fretwork frame, an oblong mirror plate with a parcel-gilt and gesso moulded inner border, the crested top centred by Hoho bird cartouche, and shaped apron. Wood panelled back fitted with wall securing brackets.
An attractive mirror, in very good condition, well presented and ready for use.
This frame measures approximately 93 cm (36.5") tall, 53.5 cm (21") wide, and 4 cm (1.75") deep. The mirror glass measures 59.25 cm (23.375") by 40 cm (15.75").
