Leeds Antiques regularly purchase good-quality period furniture, with a particular focus on Georgian, Regency and early Victorian pieces. If you have an item you are considering selling, we would be pleased to hear from you.

Our interest is in furniture of genuine age and quality, including well-proportioned tables, chairs, desks and chests of drawers, particularly those with good colour, original features and honest patina.

What We Are Looking For

We are typically interested in:

• Georgian and Regency period furniture
• Tables, chairs, desks, chests of drawers and related forms
• Pieces of good design, proportion and construction
• Furniture in original or sensitively restored condition

What We Do Not Buy

To save time on both sides, we do not purchase:

• Reproduction or modern furniture
• Mass-produced Victorian or later items
• Pieces with significant structural damage or heavy alteration

Advice & Appraisals

If a piece is not suitable for us, we will always try to offer honest advice where possible. We are well connected throughout Yorkshire and may be able to suggest an alternative route to sale if appropriate.

We also undertake valuations and appraisals, including advice relating to estates and private collections. This service is available by arrangement.
