A George III period, mahogany framed toilet mirror, circa 1800. This original tabletop vanity mirror in solid mahogany with brass locking knob handles. Original oblong mirror plate with cushion moulded frame. Wood panelled back. The mirror angle can be adjusted and locked in place.
An attractive mirror, in very good and original condition. The mirror plate with just the right amount of foxing, so is still very useable, but clearly of age. Very well presented and ready for use.
This mirror frame measures approximately 45.5 cm (18") tall, 40 cm (16.75") wide, and 20 cm (8") deep across the footprint. The visible mirror glass measures 27.5 cm (10.625") by 21.75 cm (8.5").

Only minor marks and blemishes on the frame. Little foxing to the mirror plate, but very useable. Well presented. Cleaned and waxed, ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
