Salar Khani Baluch Khorasan Rug Afghan Persian

A Baluch rug from the Khorasan region, possibly Afghanistan, approximately 9'6" x 4'4", dating from the mid c.20th. The red coloured field with columns of serrated guls Guls, enclosed by triple repeating narrow borders. A old hand knotted rug made of high quality wool with fringes to the ends. An attractive rug, in good condition, and ready for use. Dimensions: This rug measures approximately 289 cm long including the fringes, and 132 cm wide. Condition: Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in a good condition, commensurate with its age. The pile is good, as are the fringes. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
