Antique Hamadan, west Persian village rug, approximately 7' x 4'4", Circa 1920. The camel coloured lattice field with central hexagonal stepped indigo medallion, containing stylised plants and animals. The spandrels with zoomorphic and anthropomorphic figures, enclosed by narrow indigo borders, flanked by both guard stripes. A hand knotted village rug with trimmed fringes to the ends. Deep pile.

MeasurementsThis rug measures approximately 214 cm long, and 133 cm wide.
ConditionPlease see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in a good condition, commensurate with its age. The pile is good, with little wear. The fringes have been trimmed. Good overall colour. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
